The Amputee Coalition is excited to announce the start of Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, promoting acceptance, and celebrating our community.
We encourage you to join us in spreading awareness about what it’s like to live with limb loss and limb difference and promoting acceptance of our community throughout April. Whether you participate by attending webinars, sharing information on social media, or simply learning more about the experiences of individuals with limb loss or limb differences, your support makes a positive impact.
- Utilize the #LLLDAM24 Communications Toolkit – Download and distribute our poster around town or share our messages on your social networks. We have crafted social media posts to help get you started, and we encourage you to tag the Amputee Coalition and use our official hashtags on your social media platforms! #LLLDAM #LLLDAM2024
- Participate in the #WeThrive campaign – We want to share your unique story! Share your story for the first time or give us a life update about how you’ve remained resilient. Post your videos on social media or submit a written story.
- Wear Orange Wednesdays – Show your enthusiasm, creativity, and support for LLLDAM by wearing ORANGE every Wednesday beginning April 3rd!
- Follow our social media channels throughout April as we share #LLLDAM Dares you can participate in. Pick and choose from a variety of challenges related to limb loss and limb difference awareness and make an impact in your own way!
