Something little I would like to share….

At our 21-week ultrasound, we were told that our little courageous warrior would have a limb difference. It will be to his right arm, this occurs in 1-100,000 pregnancies with no real diagnosis.

Regardless of his limb difference, Raphael will CONQUER anything he wants in his own way. His limb difference won’t hold him back EVER.

His older brother plays and treats Raphael like every other kid he is around. (however more rough )

Raphael has been taught to say “ little arm, BIG heart” & “I can do EVERYHING”

Raphael transitioned into Preschool.

Hello everyone,  I only started preschool two weeks ago. (this is the first time I have been away from my mummy and finding it hard). 

I have all my little friends ask me about my baby arm.  I get a little upset  because this is normal for me I can do everything just like them. Just to let you all know I was born this way and I’m a superhero. 

Mommies, daddies and little friends, please read this little story that was made for me to share at Preschool with my friends.

This is Raphael.  He has come to preschool to play and make lots of new friends. 
At preschool, we are all different! Some friends are tall and some friends are short.
Some friends can talk, and some cannot. 
Some friends don’t look or act like me.   And that’s ok. We are all different. That’s what makes us special. 
Some friends have different colored skin.
Some speak a different language.  
Raphael’s right arm doesn’t look the same as mine. He calls it his “baby arm”.  
Even though he may look a little different, he can still do what we can do. He likes to play and have fun too!  
Raphael can do anything that we can do! He likes to go for bike rides with his brother. 
He has a special arm  that he connects to the handle. This helps him steer the bike  but most of the time he doesn’t wear it and can steer without it! Because he is a superhero!  “Go Rafy”! 
Raphael even likes to help in the garden! 
He also likes to go bowling. 
Raphael likes to play and do fun things just like me! 
Raphael can build tall amazing towers with Lego! 
Even though we look different on the outside, we are all the same on the inside. 
We all feel happy when good things happen,  and we all feel sad when bad things happen. 
It is important to be KIND.
