Heba Morsy

You don’t need to fit in.

I was born with one hand. Growing up, I saw everyone as human beings trying to hide their flaws and appear perfect. It made me try to hide myself to fit in and I didn’t wanna be different until I realized that no one is perfect, no matter how hard we try, and being different makes us special. We all have to look like each other, we all have to be in the same superficial box; perfect body, perfect complexion, perfect teeth, perfect hair, perfect clothes, and so on. So we all fall into this trap of perfectionism that will never ever exist.

You don’t need to fit in. Don’t get trapped in this cage next to me. We as a society need to adapt to the changes and the differences we all have. YES, we are the same ‘HUMANS’ but we are all different in one way or another.
