Nadia Goodwin has been involved in the Amputee Coalition’s Youth Camp & Youth Engagement Program (YEP) for 4 years. Nadia thoroughly enjoyed her time as a youth camper and now has transitioned her experiences as a camper into an aspiration of serving as a mentor to youth as a Camp Counselor. Nadia will be entering her second year as a Leader in Training as this year’s Paddy Rossbach YEP Youth Camp approaches July 15-19, 2024, in Rockport, Texas at Camp Aranzazu. Nadia will continue her journey and continue to be an instrumental driving force in the development of the next generation of youth campers.
Nadia has been involved in YEP and the Youth Workforce Development Program, taking part in programs and utilizing resources that have helped her in her postsecondary pursuits. Nadia has benefitted from the Life Skills, Education & Training, Career Development, Mentorship, and youth Camp that YEP provides. The Amputee Coalition is so happy to congratulate Nadia on being accepted into her dream college. Nadia will be attending the University of Kansas in the fall. It has been a privilege to have Nadia as a YEP youth and now supporting her in her journey to become a camp counselor. Nadia brings such positivity and passion to YEP and we look forward to her continued contribution to the Paddy Rossbach YEP Youth Camp for years to come.
Nadia is a prime example of a camper developing skills that lead to opportunities and joy throughout the year. From a camper to a counselor to a young adult, the YEP Leader in Training formula is designed to encourage our youth to pursue their passions equipped with the training to be successful in their studies and future careers.
