The Amputee Coalition mourns the loss of Joice “Pelly” L. Williams, a peer support counselor who passed away on March 27 at the age of 66. “Joice was a gracious and kind woman and a fantastic Certified Peer Visitor! She was always willing to help anytime we called on her to provide peer support to someone starting on their journey with limb loss,” said Peer Support Coordinator, Susan Tipton. “Many of the women she helped would share how Joice provided hope and was a friend to lean on when they needed her. She was truly a bright star and all of us will truly miss her.” Read more about Joice’s life in her obituary on Legacy.com.
