The Amputee Coalition is dedicated and committed to providing and supporting an inclusive space for the limb loss and limb difference community, their families, caregivers, and allies. We are striving to expand the collective voice of the limb loss and limb difference community to better ensure this mission.
The Ambassadors and Community Champions play a unique role in reinvigorating the current community, reaching new community members, and raising the collective voices and overall awareness of the limb loss and limb difference community. The more connections in the network the stronger, more resilient, and supportive the community will be overall. YOU are the coalition!

How can you champion and support the limb loss and limb difference community becoming an ambassador? We are looking for influencers, inquiring minds, storytellers, and networks.
- Influencing – Use your personal social media networks and connections to encourage members of the limb loss and limb difference community to engage with the Amputee Coalition.
- Inquiring – Connect directly with members of the community and learn about their needs in terms of community and support from the Amputee Coalition.
- Storytelling – Share your stories and knowledge at live and virtual events, podcasts, blogs, vlogs, testimonials, etc. Your shared experiences encourage others to get involved with the Amputee Coalition.
- Networking – Identify and contact organizations that could get information into the hands of those living with limb loss and limb difference about the Amputee Coalition.
Our ultimate mission is to reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support, and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention. Your voice empowers all.
