Why Attend Youth Camp? Apply by May 31!

May 6, 2024 |

We are excited to bring back our community’s longest tenured youth camp to Camp Aranzazu in Rockport, Texas this July 15th-19th!

Please join the Amputee Coalition as we welcome youth 10 to 17 years of age to apply to attend the Paddy Rossbach YEP Youth Camp.

Scholarships for up to 50 youth are available. We are excited to have youth take part in adaptive sports, traditional camp activities, and workforce development programming.

Applications are due by May 31!

Reasons to attend:

  1. Hang out with friends from across the country: a fresh start to have fun, learn, and grow in an environment of genuine connections
  2. Learn new practical skills: excellent opportunity to acquire new skills that might not be encountered during the regular school year which broaden knowledge and boost confidence
    • Archery, Rock Climbing, Fishing, Creating Art, Kayaking, Birding, Swimming, Challenge Course, and so much more
    • Fully accessible for a variety of accessibility and mobility aids and devices
  3. Exploring outside the comfort zone: full of spaces and encouragement to attempt new sports, games, and activities. Camp provides experiences that go beyond classrooms and is a unique setting for growth, learning, and fun!
