From Coast to Coast: Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Spreads Nationwide

As we continue to celebrate we are excited to share that we have received  nationwide! This incredible achievement speaks volumes about our community’s growing recognition and support.

These proclamations not only signify official recognition but also serve as a testament to the collective commitment to promoting inclusivity, understanding, and accessibility for individuals with limb loss or limb differences. With each proclamation, we are taking significant strides towards creating a more inclusive society where everyone feels valued and empowered.

As we continue our journey to advocate for awareness and inclusivity, we are immensely grateful for the support and solidarity shown by these states. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals and their families.

We are also excited to share a few momentous occasions across the country. Ottobock worked in collaboration with Niagara Parks to  in orange. Jefferson Moss Magee Rehab sought permission to have a  Wiggle Your Toes also shared a video of the  above the Mississippi river in Minnesota.

Let’s close out LLLDAM on the last Saturday of the month with “Show Your Mettle Day” This is a day to encourage and empower individuals to show off their “mettle” (i.e. prostheses, wheelchairs, orthoses, crutches, canes, etc.). On April 27th, take and share a picture as a symbol of empowerment! Tag us!
