Certified Peer Visitors are trained volunteers who provide information and support for individuals about to undergo an amputation or who currently have limb loss and/or limb difference.
Are you interested in becoming a Certified Peer Visitor (CPV) this year? Join us at ACNC24 for the in-person portion of the hybrid training on Wednesday, August 7th from 8:30am-12:30pm ET.
Eligibility: In order to be eligible to join this live, in-person CPV Training, attendees must:
- Meet the Amputee Coalition’s Certified Peer Visitor criteria by the date of the CPV training
- Register to attend National Conference
- Submit an online CPV application with two attached letters of recommendation by June 23, 2024 (no training class fee)
- Complete a third-party background check screening by June 30, 2024 (no background check fee)
Attend a 4-hour virtual CPV training via Zoom* during the last week of July, led by Amputee Coalition CPV Trainers
