Career Exploration 101
May 2, 2023, 4 p.m. Eastern
During this training, Trenaya Reid, workforce development manager, will provide an overview of career exploration and the skills/resources necessary to search for jobs within a participant’s career interests. The workforce development manager will also provide sample resources that participants can use to research different career fields that are of interest. There will be time at the end of the training for Q&A.
How to Build a Strong Resume
May 16, 2023, 4 p.m. Eastern
During this training, Trenaya Reid, workforce development manager, will provide an overview of how to build a strong resume. During the training, attendees will have the opportunity to see the resources available within our Resume and Cover Letter Fact Sheet to assist them in creating a resume. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to submit their resume prior to the training (by 5/15 at 5pm EST) to workforce@amputee-coalition.org; to review live during the training session. There will be time at the end of the training session for Q&A.
Mock Interview 101: YEP Workforce Development Program
May 29, 2023, 4 p.m. Eastern
During this training, Trenaya Reid, workforce development manager, will review a series of interview questions to help attendees prepare for an interview! The goal of this training session is for attendees to feel confident, prepared, and ace their first interview experience! Attendees can also practice answering some interview questions with their peers and the Workforce Development Manager. There will be time at the end of the training session for Q&A.
