We know the loss of a limb for any reason is a life-changing event and we want to come alongside you on this journey. The Amputee Coalition is here and exists to support you. No amputee alone is a key tenet of our mission and we have resources to help answer any questions you may have about living with limb loss or limb difference.
In the video, we talk about how you can connect with our National Limb Loss Resource Center and the benefits of joining a registered support group. “I have learned that life as an amputee is still a fabulous life,” said Vala Hallgrimson who is now a Certified Peer Visitor. “It’s a great community out there and I didn’t find that out until I started going to the support group.”
