Growing My Confidence

When I lost my leg I also lost my self-confidence. But through the amazing opportunities and friends I have made in the Amputee Coalition I have gained it back. I am now proud of who I am and my disability. It makes me who I am and it does not make me any less of a person! Because of the Amputee Coalition, I am strong, confident, and active! I never thought I would be able to play sports or walk again, and now I am! I am so thankful to be who I am, because I am unique and I am amazing, and I wouldn’t have thought that if it weren’t for the Amputee Coalition!
