AMPUTATION GOT NOTHING ON ME.

Hi, I’m Dianah Nanjala (Indiana Bae). I lost my left leg in March 2023 due to a road accident. I had a below-knee amputation. I was a model at the time when I lost my leg. I was affected mentally for some days thinking that my whole career is LOST. Luckily enough, in October last year, I got a prosthetic!! I began my journey towards embracing my new self, accepting the situation I was in and chasing my goal. @Prothea Kenya, a company I didn’t know until I met them, organized a Fashion show. It was the Miss and Mr Amputee Fashion Show. The aim of the event was to raise funds to buy prosthetics for amputees who cannot afford them. I applied for it, went for training and finally won the Miss Amputee Kenya. I am so proud of myself for being a go getter. Amputation got nothing on me. So let me encourage any amputee out there by saying, remember to chase your dream regardless. You live for it so don’t die with unfulfilled dreams. Let people see you first, before they see your disability.
