The Youth Engagement Program (YEP) is excited to host our first Youth Empowerment Luncheon on Saturday, March 11, in the Chicago area. You can join us at the Westin Chicago Lombard, 70 Yorktown Center, Lombard, Illinois, from noon-6 p.m. Central.
We will also host a meet-and-greet reception on Friday, March 10, from 7-9 p.m. Central.
We anticipate youth (ages 10-17) living with limb loss or limb difference, and their parents, will join us for an exciting luncheon with topics of resilience, project management, life skills, the Americans With Disabilities Act, workforce mentorship, elevator pitches, the Flint Public Health Youth Academy, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention activity. There will be giveaways, a selfie corner, a 360-cam corner, a podcast, and more.
The luncheon is free to youth living with limb loss or limb difference. You must register with YEP before you register for the luncheon. Click here.
You don’t want to miss Coach Dar, Darleen Santore. She speaks to NFL, NBA, WNBA, and MLB teams and players. She is coming to our luncheon just for you! Seats are limited, so register today! We have so many other speakers attending that you won’t regret carving out time to attend the luncheon on March 11.
