Larissa Camp

CUTTING HAIR WITHOUT FINGERS.

Larissa CampMy name is Larissa Camp and I am a domestic violence abuse survivor. I was shot twice at close range with a shotgun by an ex-boyfriend who later turned the gun on himself. The incident resulted in me receiving a partial hand amputation and wondering what my life would look like now having an amputation. I’ve learned that everything happens for a reason and I would soon find my purpose. In spite of tragedy, I found triumph. I decided I would live out a lifelong dream and become a hairstylist. I am currently working in the hair salon at Life Time in Sandy Springs. Bonika Shears is the company I used to create customized shears so that I could live out my lifelong dream of being a hairstylist. My goal now is to inspire others to reach their goals, live out their purpose, and know that nothing in life just happens. What we do with what happens to us is what makes the difference.
