The new Ambassador and Community Champions program was introduced during the National Conference in August. We want to thank everyone who has already signed up to participate in the program. Your participation and activism are very much appreciated. We are excited to reintroduce ourselves with a kick-off webinar outlining further details of the program.
The Ambassadors and Community Champions will work to expand the voice of and for our community, deepen relationships with community members and partners, and help ensure no amputee is alone. Our goal is to reinvigorate the Amputee Coalition community, reach new members, and raise awareness of the limb loss and limb difference community. Your voice empowers all.
How can you champion and support the limb loss and limb difference community by becoming an ambassador?
- Influencing – Use your personal social media networks and connections to encourage members of the limb loss and limb difference community to engage with the Amputee Coalition.
- Inquiring – Connect directly with members of the community and learn about their needs in terms of community and support from the Amputee Coalition.
- Storytelling – Share your stories and knowledge at live and virtual events, podcasts, blogs, vlogs, testimonials, etc. Your shared experiences encourage others to get involved with the Amputee Coalition.
- Networking – Identify and contact organizations that could get information into the hands of those living with limb loss and limb difference about the Amputee Coalition.
