Living with limb loss can be a challenging experience, but you don’t have to face it alone. The Amputee Coalition Youth Engagement Program (YEP) is working to empower the next generation of leaders and advocates in the limb loss community.
YEP offers youth the opportunity to connect with peers, learn life skills resources, participate in education and training events, attend youth camps, and learn workforce development skills. YEP provides a supportive and inclusive environment for youth ages 10-17. By participating in YEP activities, the next generation can impact their peers and help shape the future of the limb loss community.
The Youth Engagement Program offers young people a fun and engaging way to learn and grow. Whether you’re interested in meeting new people, learning valuable life and advocacy skills, or simply having a great time, this program offers you the perfect opportunity to get involved.
Our next in-person event is the 2023 Youth Empowerment Luncheon. Join us Friday, March 10, 7-9 p.m. for a welcome reception. The Empowerment Luncheon will take place Saturday, March 11, noon-6 p.m.
