The Amputee Coalition announces Chris Draft, former NFL player, Spirit Award Winner, founder of Team Draft and CEO of the Chris Draft Family Foundation, will attend the Amputee Coalition Youth Camp at the 2022 National Conference in Palm Desert, California.
“Chris Draft’s commitment to empowering and uplifting communities by educating and equipping families to make healthier choices, is unlimited,” said Amputee Coalition Interim President and CEO John Register. “Draft coming out to Palm Desert to meet and inspire the campers elevates our mission to empower people affected by limb loss. We are extremely fortunate and enthusiastic about having him join the youth camp experience this year.”
Mr. Draft is no stranger to youth camps, his Draft Day® fitness camp for youth and families debuted in 2006. This year the Amputee Coalition Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp will combine with the annual Amputee Coalition 2022 National Conference at the JW Marriott Desert Spring Resort & Spa, August 10-13, 2022. Mr. Draft’s presence at the first in-person camp and conference in three years will help support young people living with limb loss and/or limb difference connect with peers, explore new experiences, and grow in their confidence and awareness.
