We appreciate the time you dedicated to taking the post-conference survey and participating in the on-site interviews.
You acknowledged several positive shifts the Amputee Coalition has made, both as an organization and changes from last year’s conference. Several items for improvement were also repeated:
- Ensuring the conference venue is more accessible and more affordable;
- Offering more food options that accommodate the needs of people with various medical conditions and dietary restrictions; and
- Including more people from the community in conference planning and speaking.
We are finalizing the location for the next Amputee Coalition National Conference and we are collaborating with community members and staff who are a part of the limb loss and limb difference community to ensure improved accessibility throughout the event. Thank you for sharing your thoughts to improve the 2025 conference experience!
