NEW YORK — OneStep, a leader in digital health powered by motion intelligence, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Limb Loss and Preservation Registry(LLPR). This partnership will see OneStep contributing its advanced gait data to the LLPR, offering unique insights into patient mobility – a crucial element for understanding the functional outcomes of prosthetic interventions and rehabilitation efforts – and, ultimately, aiding in the enhancement of research, care strategies, and reimbursement protocols for individuals with limb loss.
The LLPR is a key resource for the orthotic and prosthetic(O&P) community, compiling data from over 150 practices and health systems to inform and improve care standards. With the integration of OneStep’s real-time, clinically validated gait data, the registry will gain a comprehensive understanding of how patients with limb loss are functioning in their daily lives. This data will enable researchers and clinicians to assess the effectiveness of prosthetic devices, refine treatment protocols, and develop evidence-based reimbursement strategies.
OneStep has been actively transforming the O&P segment with its innovative solutions, working with O&P partners across the nation including previously announced partnerships with
NovaCare Prosthetics & Orthotics and the Protez Foundation. Through these collaborations, OneStep’s motion intelligence technology has been integrated into care protocols, enabling precise adjustments of prosthetics and continuous monitoring of patient progress. OneStep’s offering in the O&P field provides real-time, clinically validated insights that empower clinicians to make data-driven decisions, enhancing patient outcomes and overall mobility.
Patrick Tarnowski, Chief Commercial Officer of OneStep, remarked, “We are excited to partner with the Limb Loss and Preservation Registry to contribute our motion intelligence technology. Together, we’re taking important steps towards improving patient outcomes and advancing the O&P profession.”
This partnership will be officially announced at the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA) meeting, where its significance in transforming patient care and research will be highlighted.
