Mock Interviewing 101: Adults/Veterans Workforce Development Program

Tuesday, May 30, 2023 – 3 p.m. Eastern

During this training, Trenaya Reid, Workforce Development Manager, will review a series of interview questions to help attendees prepare for an interview! The goal of this training session is for attendees to feel confident, prepared, and ace their first interview experience! Attendees can also practice answering some interview questions with their peers and the Workforce Development Manager. There will be time at the end of the training session for Q&A.

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Advancement Listening Session

Wednesday, June 28, 2023, 5 p.m. Eastern

This listening session is intended for those affected by Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) and other relatable diseases (i.e., diabetes, coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease) which resulted in an amputation(s) to share their subjective experiences of pre/post-amputation medical care from a holistic lens (physically, psychologically and socially) to improve patient care.

Objectives:

  • Develop an understanding of the quality of medical care holistically once diagnosed with PAD-related conditions.
  • Develop an understanding of barriers preventing/limiting access to care.
  • Develop an understanding of resources needed pre/post-amputation.
  • Develop an understanding of the quality of medical care holistically once a limb has been amputated.
