Our National Athlete Advocate Ambassadors have helped the Amputee Coalition raise awareness for equity, accessibility, disability rights, and so much more throughout 2024! From messages of their personal journeys, Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness, Disability Rights and Redefining Ability, and closing out 2024 elevating Disability Employment we thank them for their willingness to be another voice advocating for the Limb Loss and Limb Difference Community!
As the campaign closes we thank the Amputee Coalition inaugural 2024 National Athlete Advocate Ambassador Campaign athletes include campaign initiator John Register Inspired Communications International, LLC, a decorated Gulf War Army veteran, renowned athlete, fervent advocate, and current Amputee Coalition Board Member; Jovan Booker, a starter for the U.S. National Amputee Soccer Team and captain of the New York Metro Amputee Soccer Club; Julian David Molina Saldarriaga, the first adaptive BMX rider to compete in the X-Games Real BMX; Gary Weiland, a firefighter, author, motivational speaker, and American Ninja Warrior.
The Amputee Coalition NAAA campaign is a reminder that our differences are not limitations, but rather an overall testament to the richness of human experience that is an opportunity to bring the community together.
